Our age goes by five for every 5 years. (in 2000 we were 5 years old. in 2005 we were 10 years old. etc.)
Our grade is the same as the year we started school in. (we started 10th grade in 2010.)
Referring to the summer is easier because it’s also the grade we’re in. (During summer ‘10 - hence the fact we’re in 10th grade.)
